Long wash times VERY wrinkly clothes come out

Between moving and buying new this is my eighth washing machine. It does a decent job of cleaning but the towel and sheet settings take a ridiculously long time relative to washers I have owned recently. At least I can program my own but that is pain to need to do every time. The permanent press cycle claims to reduce wrinkles. No way I have never had clothes come out more wrinkled than they come out of this machine even on the permanent press cycle. It has a ton of cycles to choose from but most dont seem to make any difference in how the clothes come out.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered I placed an order on July 21st which was suppose to be delivered July 25th. When I called July 25th they had no idea where my order is couple days later I receive texts and email that a replacement order has been placed. When I called to see whats going on they had no idea where the new order is. Then I got a hold of their shipping partner and they said the order will be delivered on August 4th when I called today they have no idea where my order is and that estimated delivery is now August 8th. Everybody who works at the customer service is absolutely incompetent. Stay away go buy a different brand. I wish I never placed an order with them.

Terrible Installation. Did not Happen

The direct LG order process and delivery was great. Installation failed because it still has happened. I order the washer Dec 1 it was delivered Dec 9 but was not installed because the individuals did not have the water hoses. After numerous calls including to LG no one has called to install the washer. After the last call and a continually leaking 12 year washing machine I had to install the washer myself. Not a big deal but now I have to find a way to get rid of the old washer that was also supposed to be removed during installation. While we like the washer given weve only used it a few times getting support for installation was horribly disappointing.

Bad QC and even worse warranty service

After using LG washers for decades and having gone through a couple generations of those washers Ive finally had my first bad experience with this latest unit. In just the first 2 months of use the unit developed a leak. Although I registered my product LG customer service did not apparently have any of the information from the registration requiring me to provide all the information again including original receipts all of which had been previously uploaded. A minor annoyance but at least I got a service appointment as part of warranty coverage. Things quickly got much worse than annoyance as LG shopped out the warranty service to Sears Home Service. They have repeatedly failed to show cancelled/rescheduled with no notice and thus far have not even made appearance to address the issue. Hours have been spent in call center hell automated systems chatbots with no resolution other than we promise we will take care of it at this next service date we just gave you. Having reached my limit with Sears failing to address the issue I tried to go back to LG who then simply connected me to Sears Home Service. LGs advice to me was that if Sears keeps failing to show LG will just refund the cost of the unit but I just have to wait it out and document more failures from their subcontractor. Perhaps this is just an edge case but should be a cautionary tale. If one of their products fails under warranty dont expect much help.

We have this washer for a little more than a month and are extremely happy with how it performs. We were hesitant to buy this model because of too many bells and whistles as we are in our early 70s but found it very user friendly and easy to operate. There are many features we love but our favorite feature is the AI wash cycle. The machine seems to do a great job of detecting how many clothes and what type. It seems to optimize the use of water and is very quite.

I bought this machine 1 month ago. I was bit wondering if it would be confusing to use technologically advanced features and settings but it was easy as it can be. The washer is quiet and smooth and performs as advertised. We are retired and may never utilize it to its full potential but so far it is very satisfactory. One feature we love is the AI wash cycle as it seems to do a great job of detecting how many clothes and what type. It has also stayed mildew-free so far by 1 drying it out after usage and 2 running the tub wash when the app tells us to which is a great reminder. Its also pretty amazing to have an alert on your phone when the wash cycle is done

Bad Decision - Looks Good Poor Function

Bought this in May and its been awful. Super loud stinks always has tons of water left in rubber gasket and leaks ALL over. A tech came out and said to fix the leak I need to run smaller loads or use a lower speed my loads are never more than 1-2 full and I usually use the bedding or delicate speeds for everything. So the fix is bologna. I dont do what they say causes the leak. Im ticked off and will never get LG again. I have to check for leaks after every load now totally unacceptable.

According to LG the washer was going to be delivered on Aug. 16th. On Aug. 14th I received a text asking me to schedule my delivery date. I thought this was strange because I had a delivery date of Aug. 16th. When I clicked the link the soonest available date was Sept. 9th. I thought there must be some mistake. I had ordered direct from LG mostly because Lowes etc. would be around Aug. 22nd delivery date and LG said the 16th. I then called both the delivery company and LG. They use a separate delivery service therefore the date when ordering was not accurate. This was very frustrating as it costs me over $40 a week at the laundromat. I am so far giving my rating 3 stars as the people I have spoken with have been kind and have tried to help. My washer hopefully will arrive the 9th as planned. I will update my review then. In the meantime I hope that LG is able to integrate with the delivery company more to give more accurate delivery dates as that was a big factor when I ordered it.

Im still learning how to operate the washer Its been a much steeper learning curve from my previous 21-year old front load washer than I expected. I like the WiFi enabled features very much especially the notification on the status of the machine. Its taking some time to learn which cycles to use for the types of loads I wash most often and how to modify them for my preferences. I find it a little tedious to have to use an online user manual for information I would expect to find in the printed manual but its not awful. Overall Im very happy with my purchase

A Truly Remarkable Machine

Ive had this washer for 4 months and love it. There are a wide variety of cycles that are not on a normal machine and I use several of them frequently. The only problem Ive had is that the detergent drawer is a little tricky to get back in I have arthritis in my hands so its not easy I gave it 5 stars even with that difficulty as the machine is remarkable otherwise.

I bought washer in October. In July the door sensor needed to be replaced. Although covered by warrantee it took several weeks to complete task. Great repairman easy customer service but having spare parts on hand would have sped up completion.

People tried to discourage me into not buying LG but I decided to go with it anyways. So far it is an awesome set and cleans and drys very well. I have no complaints on its performance.

I bought this washer approximately 1 1/2 months ago and really dont know how I tolerated my last washer for so long. This is the very best washer Ive ever purchased. The features are perfect and address all washing needs including all the synthetic fabrics in the market. Its easy to use and the wash cycles get my clothes really clean. I absolutely love how the spin cycles get the majority of water and moisture out of my clothes.

We recently purchased this washer and its been fun to use all the options. The AI appears to use the less time and energy. Its also interesting to see how much energy each cycle uses. The one function we will definitely use is the cleaning cycle. Its a function we had on our previous LG washer that we did not use until it was too late.

Love the allergine cycle as I have three dogs that I allow on my furnishings so I use alot of blankets and constantly washing them.
