With teenage boys doing the dishes, it's almost impossible to have clean dishes. They don't scrub or preclean anything. The Bosch has taken care of that. My dishes have been cleaned better than they have in years. The best part is the filter to catch any food that was left on before a wash is easy to remove, clean and reinstall.

I loved my old Bosch dishwasher, it was great; washed and dried very efficiently in shorter time, and had several options. They made a simple replacement part obsolete. So I bought the SHV78CM3N/34. I could care less about the Home Connect. I care how my dishes are cleaned and dried. I had a technician out in the first 2 months about the poor drying issue. "Use a drying agent
( I always have), leave the door open after washing." There is nothing wrong with the unit. Seven months out now; The basket design is great. The cabinet stays wet all the time, and my dishes do not dry well. There is no indicator to alert you when the dying agent is low or empty (except for the very wet interior cabinet). The dying agent helps but still does not completely dry the dishes or eliminate the moisture inside the cabinet. I still have to leave the cabinet open almost daily to prevent moisture and mold development. I have read other reviews, and this seems to be a common issue, even with the Benchmark Series with the extra drying feature. Nevertheless, I expect this very expensive dishwasher to deliver clean, dry dishes without having to help the expensive dishwasher out. Full Stop! I am working on a replacement, but suspect that the technology and quality has changed, and expect the same problem based upon the reviews I have read. As consumers, we pay high prices for less quality, fewer efficient features and little recourse.

Purchased from Best Buy. Delivered and installed 8 days later. Front Panel easily transferred from old unit to new unit. Seems to work fine. Only been installed several hours now. The unit is very quiet. Touch pads finicky. Otherwise, time will tell.

Glad to have a dishwasher that cleans so well. Easy to load, utensil options and a door that stays open. It is so quiet that the only way you know it's running is by the light on the floor. My dishes come out dry and there's no Need to dry each item off prior to putting away.

It's extremely quiet, and honestly the first time we used it my husband and I could hardly hear it running, the only way we knew it was on was the red light on the floor indicating that it was running! Love how quiet this is. I actually like the rack system once you get used to what its capable and of. Cleans very well. I think the app interface could use improvements. The zeolite doesn't dry as well as it claims. I still see some water on some of my dishes. It makes me wonder if it the zeolite is really installed since I've never seen it. The utensil caddy is very flimsy and I think it could be better designed since this is a higher model.

We upgraded to this 800 Series custom panel model and couldn't be happier. The custom panel integration lets it disappear completely behind our kitchen cabinetry for a sleek, high-end look. Beyond the aesthetics, the cleaning and drying performance are phenomenal-even stubborn baked-on cookware comes out spotless and completely dry thanks to CrystalDry. We just replaced a Bosch series 800 diashwasher that lasted well over 15 years. Our new 800 series is outstanding. Really like the flexibility of the three drawers. The silverware drawer is much better than the basket system and adds more usable space for plates. The new dry features work great on plastics. And with our open kitchen we especially like the silent 42dBA It's not inexpensive but it is good value if you're seeking a premium dishwasher.

We loved the Bosch dishwasher so much in our former home, we selected another Bosch for our recent kitchen remodel in a new home. One of the best features is how quiet it is. Sometimes you really have to listen to hear it running. It does a great job cleaning, and it offers flexibity with a rack that raises and lowers. In the photos you'll note that we installed our dishwasher a bit higher than is typical. This was done so as we age, we don't have to bend over as far for the lower rack.

I have really liked the dishwasher. Its super silent and can be run even in the same room as the TV without any noise hardly. There is always plenty of space, and I've never had a situation where something didn't get clean, which is saying something. Definitely recommend.

At our former house, we replaced our dishwasher with the latest Bosch panel ready dishwasher. The addition of the third rack was absolutely life-changing! We loved it. And the quiet operation can't be beat. Now we've moved again and sure enough, within the first month, the old Bosch in our new house went belly up. Why wouldn't we go back to our child in true favorite? Some things were updated since our previous purchase, but it's only made the appliance that much better. We have been very pleased and love the addition of the app so that we know when to add rinse agent or adjust the load so that it gets perfectly clean every time. And the crystal dry is very impressive.

We replaced our 11 year old Kitchenaid dishwasher with this unit. After the first month or so we're extremely happy with it. It is whisper quite. The red light is a nice indicator that it is on. Our existing cabinet panel swapped over no problem. The overall wash is excellent and the plastic drying is exceptional. The app is also very nice for those times you mostly loaded the dishwasher and threw in a tab, but didn't start it. You can fire it up right from bed. At a previous home we had a Samsung Storm Wash we thought was very nice, but this is by far the best dishwasher we've ever had.

We have been using this dishwasher for about 2 months now. It cleans and dries the dishes very well, is extremely quiet. I have never had a dishwasher that does better. With that being said, all four of my kids (9-16 years old) keep on telling me they like our old Samsung dishwasher better. Granted, we didn't call customer service right away or look at the manual. We had the hardest time getting it to turn on and begin the cycle. The buttons are not intuitive for my kids and I. I didn't realize that there is an app to operate it. After using the app, it is incredibly impressive what customization is possible, as well as instructional videos. My kids love turning it on using the app. My kids still don't like the amount of room inside the dishwasher and the layout the items have to be in. The other dishwasher we had seemed to hold more. They had no idea that our old dishwasher was not as nice of quality - they just gave me their honest opinions. My opinion is that I'd buy it again.

We love our Bosch 800 series dishwasher. It is very quiet. I like the fact that a red light shines on the floor so you know the cycle is done. I did a test to see how well it cleaned. I put a plate with hard, cheesy sauce in the Bosch dishwasher. And to my surprise, it came out crystal clean. 😊

I am disappointed with the new Bosch dishwasher. They changed a configuration of the top rack, which caused me to exchange the whole dishwasher. It has a weird odor when you keep it closed for more than one day. The top controls doesn't offer the quick wash unless you go on an app. I don't need my dishwasher being run by my app I just want to go to the dishwasher and turn it on. It is not better. Plus my other dishwasher only lasted eight years, which is super disappointing. Not only do they last a shorter amount of time, but they are considerably more expensive. Very disappointed.

Hello -- I needed to call in my local appliance repair technician, who installed my new dishwasher, to see if he could explain why it won't complete a wash cycle, either "heavy" or "normal." His belief is that the heating element in the dishwasher is malfunctioning and is causing the circuit breaker to trip shortly after beginning the wash cycle. He is going to contact Bosch on my behalf with respect to possibly doing the repair/replacement. Needless to say I'm disappointed and frustrated, not only because of not being able to use the dishwasher but also because of the added cost/s of trying to understand the problem.

My Bosch dishwasher was installed on 4/23 and as of 5/29, I still have never been able to turn it on. It's hard to know say what's worse- the useless product that I splurged on, or the horrendously slow customer service Bosch provides. There is a two week wait any time you need a Bosch technician to come try to fix your useless dishwasher. When you get a lemon like mine, it requires multiple visits for them to attempt to fix it rather than offering you a functional replacement (I am finally expecting my second Bosch technician visit today). Maybe sometime this summer I will have a working dishwasher. Save your money and buy a cheaper and more reliably alternative.

This is our third Bosch dishwasher, and likely our last. It cleans really well - probably better than previous ones, especially as it gets dishes drier than before. And we love the quietness, which is why we're repeat customers. It does what it's supposed to really well.
But, the first issue is how much of the functionality must be accessed through the app. Want a rinse cycle? Need to use the app? Do the "machine care" cycle? App again. Want to delay the start . . . now you need the app. But the app keeps getting worse and losing functionality, and has bad UI. What happened to including a couple more buttons?
Next, Bosch still hasn't fixed the door rope issue from the previous version of this model - the reason we had to replace it. The ropes that are attached to springs to have the door open and close smoothly and without effort broke within two years. This is a product that should work 10+ years, but Bosch can't make these ropes last. Basic design flaw for it to still be happening.

My dishwasher was only nine months old and still under warranty when it quit working in January and flooded our kitchen causing thousands of dollars of damage to hardwood floors. I've stayed home to meet three different Bosch appointed repairmen a total of six times and the dishwasher is still not working. It's been three months and they have still not not agreed to replace it. I submitted the purchase invoice and other information immediately upon request. The last two times I've called they said they needed to get information from the repair service company - which is, of course, their contractor, before they would replace it and that someone would call me back with an update. Which never happened.

Being almost 80 years old, we have gone through many, many dishwashers. We are just tickled with this Bosch- our first one! Love everything about it- the third rack for silverware is genius. Love how clean and shiny the dishes and glassware come out. The door closes beautifully, the racks are designed perfectly and it is so quiet you can't even hear it running. No doubt about it, Bosch is THE best dishwasher on the market.

You need an clunky app to delay start this dishwasher which is infuriating; wouldn't have bought this if I had known. Otherwise a great machine that allows for a matching cabinet panel to be installed. Needing a clunky app for daily regular use really takes away from this machine.
