We purchased a home with this range already installed. I can already tell my wife is going to hate it. The oven is difficult to light. You cannot tell when it is heating. There is not a temp display of the actual oven Call it guess work at best. The design team really missed the ball on this model.

I purchased a +$4,000 Bosch gas range. After one month the glass door shattered. Horrible Customer Service. No one will return a call. Apparently they don't have managers in Customer Service. I'll never purchase another Bosch appliance. I've spent hours and hours trying to get this repaired.

In general, I like this stove a lot. But I have two concerns: one, it is difficult to determine the temp of the oven. Second, I haven't been able to find a toe-kick or skirt that will keep odd items from rolling under!

Range comes at a premium price but does not perform. Looks great but it ends there. When installed 1/2 of the burners did not work right. Bought from a 3rd party supplier and it was a nightmare to get someone out to fix it and still hasn't been fixed. Burners would light and then immediately shut off.
The OVEN cooling fan is ALWAYS ON when in use and takes about 45 mins to shut off when done cooking. It is difficult to have a conversation while cooking because of the fan. Has trouble relighting the oven when it is still warm.
Wish that there was light better sign to show that it is done preheating.

Our repair person was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, patient with with an went through all steps and figured out the clock was not working/motherboard and replaced. The first repair person ignored anything I mentioned - I give tour second repair person 10 stars !!

It's just okay. I got tired of looking and just settled. As it's LP Gas it heats way too high, ie...I set it at 300 and per the thermometer the correct temp is 350. It takes some getting used to for the oven and burners to actually turn on. If the "clicking" stops before it lights then you have to start over, and 9 times out of 10 you have to start over.

When gas burners are ignited, there is a distinct whistling sound. I have owned natural gas fuel ranges for decades and never heard this sound, which is loud and disturbing.

I purchased all new appliances for my kitchen. It's been a month and I'm already having issues with oven not staying on. Microwave turns on by itself and dishwasher takes 3 hours to do each load. Not efficient and now I have to call Bosch and go through the pain of getting my oven fixed

Well, I'm all for patronizing local appliance stores but buyer beware with Baron's. My Bosch Freestanding Range is just about 28 months old. And while the oven has been giving us trouble for about 6 months it finally crapped out recently. It will either not light at all or light and flame out. Both the igniter and thermocouple coils are frayed in appearance. When you call Baron's Appliance, you are forwarded to a 3rd party out of Manchester, who wants your money for the service call well before they arrive to "diagnose" your problem. From there you have to pay them to come back with parts to repair your appliance. And, by the way the repair company has terrible reviews on Google. We said no thanks. Sounded like a scam.
An Independent repair service came immediately and diagnosed the problem as a faulty thermocouple and thermostat, at a cost of 1,500$!! We paid 5k for what we thought was a well built range.
Shame on Baron's. Shame on Bosch.

Had issues from the beginning. A seal on the oven door snapped in the first month of use. Not to worry there's a 1 year warranty, just had to wait a few weeks for the part.
We had the same lighting issues everyone else mentions but you get used to it. The screen does not display the current temperature of the oven like 99% of stoves on the market. I didn't realize it was even an option to not display the temperature when the oven is on. So if you miss the "beep" when it's supposed to reach the desired temperature you don't know what temperature your oven is at. After a year and half the oven does not heat up correctly and will turn off with no warning . Bosch tech set the temp to 500, a few minutes later it beeped but his tools showed the real temperature was 200 degrees. Estimated repair is more than a quarter of the purchase price
If you like regular tech visits this is the stove for you!

This unit has been disappointing, the largest gas ring takes way too long to light. The oven occasionally extinguishes without any warning, very annoying when baking. It is hard to tell when the oven is at temperature if you miss the one little beep.

I love everything about the range except the oven. Following the instructions in the owner's manual, I can't get it to light. I contacted Bosch and they sent out a service tech. He lit the range on the first try. Just a different timing with the control knob. Using his method I am a lot more successful at lighting the oven. He told me that these ovens a a little finicky. It's not perfect. Some times it takes two or three tries before it will stay lit.
The other small issue with the oven is the timer. I wish there was a way to keep the timer visible while it is on instead of switching back to the clock.

This range is wonderful! It's spacious on the range and in the oven and easy to clean. I only gave it 4 starts because I wish, with the oven temp dial, there was an internal thermometer so I could see the actual oven temp without needing a freestanding thermometer.

I would not recommend this range. My range is less than two years in old, and I'm having the same problem a lot of other people have. When trying to ignite the oven it clicks for ever and takes about five or six tries to light. Contacted an authorized maintenance company and they replaced the igniter for a total of 400$. The oven still will not ignite and takes several tries. Contacted Bosch and they say there is no known issues with this range despite dozens of reviews across several platforms stating the same issue. Look at another manufacturer.

Happy so far with new gas stove. Like that it is not as deep as most commercial stile ranges which helped with the kitchen design. The range is the focal point of the kitchen and is quite beautiful. Everything seems to work well with the range and it got a full workout for our thanksgiving festivities. Glad to be cooking with gas again. The only complaint is that the fan that runs after the oven is turned off is a little loud and seems to run a long time.

We have had multiple issues either this stove since installation. Service Rep was not knowledgeable about the product or issues. Needed to
Order multiple parts which never resolved this issue. We found a work around but recently had the The issue pop-up again. The oven would start but then randomly shuts off. And this happened on Thanksgiving so I was unable to prepare a meal. Will be looking for a refund on this terrible product.

Works well, burners are strong, roomy oven, heats up fast. Only downside is that there is no way of knowing when the oven has heated up. With an analog temperature dial, you just set it and guess when it's at the right temperature, which is ridiculous for such an expensive appliance.

Do not waste your money on these "luxury brand name" appliances.
The stainless steel surroundings is not holding up well to daily use.
Turning on the stove takes constant turning of the knob to ignite the burner.
Not satisfied with the cost and the poor performance of this product.

What I wanted was a no frills gas range with minimal electronics, what I got instead was a very shoddily built appliance that can't even remain stationary when you open and close the oven. The legs don't seem to be level, and that's double confirming with the technician who went around to find a demo unit on display. The all-gas range is obviously Bosch's unloved child in their commercial series, and I wish I had opted for the higher end induction model instead, which I suspect does not have build quality problems like this.

We replaced an older Kenmore Elite 36" gas range that was showing it's age. We decided on a Bosch 800 Series Gas Range, model HGS8655UC, and so far so good. It looks great, the burners are powerful & versatile, and the full extension telescopic rack rail in the oven is a real plus.
I will say, it does take some practice getting it successfully lit, especially the oven. As we read in other reviews, the temperature control for the oven is less-than-precise.

Nice stove but burners and oven are very difficult to light and in my opinion is an engineering defect due to how long it takes to get used to those as compared to a normal stove.
