I'm a mom of 3 under 6 years old and I'm constantly cooking. I love the 6 burners and the sturdiness of this unit! It cooks evenly and I love the middle rack that rolls out...perfect for checking doneness!

I love to cook and as a parent of 3 young kiddos, am always standing in front of the range cooking for my family. This range delivers on every front...love the 6 different burners and the even bake of the oven. You will love this purchase and how you feel while cooking on it!

This range is everything I ever dreamed of!! It's huge! I can fit so many things on it. It is also STUNNNNNING!!! I love my Bosch appliances but this is my number one favorite. I get so many compliments on this.

Let me begin with my wife and I *love* our Bosch appliances, our Bosch dishwasher is about 7 or 8 years old and is still working great. Our Bosch bottom freezer&fridge is very well designed, zero complaints after three years. However - the range has had ongoing problems. To wit:
1. We had a major problem with the oven not lighting on the first, second or even the third time. Had a gas technician troubleshoot and he couldn't find the problem. I finally got fed up and did my own troubleshooting. The problem was the wire to the oven burner ignitor was arcing to the nearby metal due to a fault with the igniter wire insulation. I insulated that area of the wire with high temperature kapton tape and problem solved.
2. Unless you follow an *exact* sequence of holding in the oven temp control knob while turning to the desired temperature and releasing the knob, the oven will not light. I have the sequence down pat but dear wife doesn't and gets periodically annoyed. Unhappy wife, unhappy life.
3. The burner and oven control knobs are all black and not double shot with white markings, there is no way to see at a quick glance what position the knobs are in. I put white arrows on the knobs which solved that problem but that's a really lousy hack that shouldn't be necessary with a $$$$ range.
4. Here's the MAJOR constant annoyance which is like having a rock in your shoe that never disappears. The oven door makes a horrible buzzing noise every time we start the oven thanks to the convection (or vent) fan running. We will be trying to watch TV in spite of the buzzing but it gets to a point where one of gets up and slaps the oven door to quiet it somewhat. This is such an annoyance I've thought about replacing it with another brand. As a positive, I love the cooktop burners.

Utter disappointment with my "new" range...the ONLY digital part on the range is the clock/timer. I've had to call consumer help for how to set clock & even then I can only get it on a 24 Hour Clock...not the 12 hour.
The oven settings are "somewhere near" the degree that I set it on b/c it is controlled by a knob, not an exact setting.
It is a nice looking range & can handle multiple pots/pans/foods cooking at once.

What a waste of money. You would think for this price you were getting a deluxe product. Nope! The oven on this thing will drive you crazy. You turn a dial to set the temperature and hope and pray it heats to the correct temperature since the oven does not have a display to show the current temperature in the oven. After burning everything we cooked, and I mean everything, we purchased an oven thermometer and found out why. Set the oven to preheat to 350 degrees based on the dial and found out that the oven will preheat okay but doesn't stop there. Once it beeped for the preheat, we watched as the temperature continued to climb..360, 370, 400. It climbed on my thermometer to 445 degrees before slowly dropping back down a little. It never did go back to 350 where the dial was set. No wonder everything was burning! We called Bosch thinking we had a defective unit. Nope, the customer service rep we spoke with said 'oh all ovens do that'. Finally we were able to get them to agree to setup an appointment with a local appliance service company. Well, even the service guy said that is what all ovens do. Well maybe he is talking about all Bosch ovens but this is the first oven I have ever owned that didn't regulate the temperature to what you set it at. So I have learned how to use it but it is a pain in the neck. Set the oven to 250 to preheat and watch the thermometer as it slowly increases, 250, 300, 325 ad if you are lucky it will stop there and you can then adjust the temperature dial a little at a time to continue to increase to the degrees you want. But you better do it slowly watching the thermometer the whole time so it doesn't go past the temperature you want. If it does. You need to turn off the oven, open the door to cool and start over because it will never return to the temperature you want. Don't even think about trying to cook a roaster or turkey unless you have all day to babysit it the whole time it cooks. This appliance is a waste of money and a Do Not Buy! You would think Boasch would stand behind their products but evidently all they want is your money. After calling back and trying to explain what all we have to go through to get the correct temperature all the customer service rep would say is yeah I wish the oven had a temperature display too because we get a lot of complaints about it. He didn't care about anything except how much he gets bothered by people calling about this model range.

When it was installed, one of the burner screws were damaged and now we can't use that burner, it was also damaged in transit, but overall it works and looks great, would definitely get again

Love: performance of the stove top, size, performance of the oven (when it works), the look, simplicity of the knobs & dials, sturdiness of the entire appliance.
Hate: my oven does not consistently light! we bought it new less than three years ago and have been oven-less three times due to igniter issues. latest repair person said replacement of igniter is required. thank goodness we have a toaster-oven! Frustrating because we bought Bosch for the reputation of reliability.

Remodeled my home three years ago. I bought a Bosch Black Stainless microwave/convection oven, amazing. Bought a Bosch fridge and a Bosch dishwasher but I didn't want to spend that much on an oven so I bought a knock off. Worst mistake ever.
After 2 recalls and a parts fiasco Zline sent a truck for their garbage and I spent the money. Wish I had done it the first time.
It's beautiful and it bakes like a dream. I thought it was me and my baking skills. Nope I'm amazing too!
