Had this refrigerator for 15 months.

I had difficulty closing the refrigerator almost from day one someone came out and said you just have to close it harder. Today the icemaker just stopped. We followed all the different directions on how to fix it ourselves and none of them worked so we have to bring in an appliance specialist. I can guarantee you it will not be a whirlpool person.

I purchased this a month ago, it is extremely loud when ice drops, it makes loud noise from water inlet valve. Buyer beware; if you have an osmosis water filtration system you must have 40 PSI water pressure to effectively support ice maker. We didn't know this at time of purchase and need to purchase a pump to increase pressure. The plastic shelves are poorly made and do not set well in holders. The bottom freezer door comes off track if not pulled from center. causing condensation buildup on seal if not closed completely. Were not happwith what bougght. You must check door often after opening and closing to ensure proper seal.

We love the external design of the unit. You do lose some internal space up top with the middle drawer but all the shelves inside are adjustable so it has been mitigated. Not bad but the side shelving is reduced from our old unit that was same cu ft but only two compartments. Have not had long enough to get used to it. I would maybe have given a 5 but the ice maker is very loud during some part of its cycle.

The refrigerator unit itself is pretty good. But I don't like the space in the refrigerator - not particularly logical or efficient. The space under the ice maker is an odd size, making it inconvenient. The absolute worst thing is the ice maker - it jams weekly and stops making ice until you pull the ice maker out to un jam the cube. Very disappointed with whirlpool. Got several appliances at once, the gas stove already has an error message requiring service and the dishwasher, frankly, underperforms but is adequate.

Had it about 2 months. I'm hesitant to give it 5 stars bc it makes a LOT of noise when making ice which makes me think that we will be seeing problems in the next few months. The ice maker in the last one went out in 6 months! Never worked again in 10 years. We bought a Scotsman ice maker and just dealt with the fridge until it quit dispensing water& the computer codes had been blinking for years. Hope we don't have to go back to a 1901 "ice box" been blinking for years already. It cost $2700 10 years ago and was crippled the ENTIRE time. We just wanted one that everything worked on. Hoping this loud random noise in this new one is not a warning thaw we need an old "ice box"

Too Many Inadequate Features

When I looked at this refrigerator in the store I was blissfully unaware of the things that would bother me after it wad installed. It is much noisier than I anticipated, the lighting is completely inadequate, and the manual is one of the worst written I've ever tried to use. It is too generic as it covers several different models. I have read the area on the ice maker and still can't figure out how to open the ice bin. It says to "push the button to release the ice bin." I have pushed and tried to pull the front of the bin to open but it just won't work. I still haven't gotten it open. The side shelves don't hold much, nowhere specific for butter, etc, and the ice maker in the top left makes it much more inefficient than I realized.

Fridge has filter problems. In less than a year we have went through 3 filters. The 1 year warranty is a joke, considering that everytime we call it takes 1-2 hours to get a hold of them. When we do get a hold of them, they schedule a day to send someone out, then when the day arrives, they never show. My 1 year warranty runs out in January and it seems that they are just delaying the issue until it is no longer their problem. We have tried for the past 2 months to get them to come out and fix it, yet there always seems to be an issue with them. Bad fridge and even worse customer service!

We purchased a brand new fridge and not even 20 mins after they left from delivering it the LED light stopped working. And it wasn™€™t a simple change the light bulb fix there was something that needed to be repaired. They told us as soon as it was plugged up it was considered used so they have to try to fix it first which is crazy to me. I paid a lot of money for a brand new working fridge. The customer service was horrible and I will never buy anything from them again.

I had this refrigerator delivered in July. Immediately it began dripping from the water dispenser. I was assured this was "normal" and would stop in a few days. As always, I turned the ice makee off when ai went on a 2 week vacation. I returned to over an inch of water in a cup I placeed under the water dispenser " just in case!" By the end of September the compressor went and I had to scramble to place refrigerated goods into my ancient garage refrigerator. It was replaced (the compressor) but the temperature has to be set lower to maintain the correct temperatures in the zones and its still dripping water. I think I was given a lemon. Most unhappy with the product!

The product is very loud running as well as ice maker. I did not realize the amount of space the ice maker take up in the refrigerator the door storage on both sides is not very useable so far it runs fine but very loud

Middle drawer is great

I wasn't sure about the middle drawer at first but I have come to love the convenience of it. I had read other reviews before purchasing and people stated the fan was loud, all the time. When it is on, you can hear but it doesn't stay on. Once it has cooled down, you don't hear a thing besides the occasional water or ice sound. It's a nice fridge but I do have to say the shelving is odd inside. The storage on the doors are small. One top shelf I can just get a small container of mustard in there. Could have a better design inside but the 3rd drawer saves it.

ample room, drawers are easy to open, side doors are easy to open. so far keeps the cool food cool and the frozen meat frozen. fingerprints are never found.

We liked the style with the pull out drawer , but it seems the refrigerator runs constantly. It also had lots of foam sticking out from the doors in several spots.

This appliance replaces an older Maytag appliance and I really like the external drawer for cheeses and cold cuts so that I don™€™t have to open the entire fridge doors to access those items. Access to ice and water is another feature I really like and the freezer is sizeable and provides an easy view and access to everything it contains.
